He is the man who produced Ghana’s Infrastructural-Centered President, John Dramani Mahama; and the country’s renowned Business Personality, Ibrahim Mahama.
Reports indicate that Emmanuel Adama Mahama was born in Damongo in the Northern Region of Gold Coast (now Ghana). He was a renowned educator and farmer who also had a deeper interest in the country’s Political Environment.
During Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s Administrative Governance, Mahama served as the First Minister of State for the Northern Region of Ghana. He was additionally elected as the Member of Parliament for the West Gonja Constituency.
Under Hilla Limann’s Government, Emmanuel Mahama rose to become a Senior Presidential Advisor. Though his role as an advisor to President Limann of the Third Republic of Ghana did not last long, as he was overthrown by Jerry John Rawlings, he however, did his very best to work resiliently with the renowned Economic Advocate, who held the values of Africa in high esteem.
He also left behind an indelible mark and unique exemplary qualities, which can be boasted of today, with reference to Ibrahim Mahama and John Dramani Mahama.
